The year of the dragon has begun and I started – late this year, but better than not at all – to formulate the goals and plans for this year. It is a sort of new years resolution, but I try to be a bit less vague and to include also steps on how I am planning to accomplish this. On one of my Creative Inspiration pages I found a writer, who’s method links right into the plans and ideas I had for this year’s Road Map: Unconventional guides
This is the first time I came across his blog, but I have to say, that he is touching some strings within me and I right away RSSed him. Lets see what I can learn from his World Domination Ideas.

Maybe a bit extreme, but I appericiate the efford :p

I am always amazed that people are so shocked or confused about all my lists and post-its and plans I have.
And I am always amazed, how people go through life without striving to some sort of goals in life.

Andy Warhol puts it very well: ” They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.” And how do you want to do that if you haven’t got some sort of grand scheme or road map for yourself.
“But how come that you are doing THIS now. I thought in your plan was something entire different. You are not really consequent in what you are doing.”
This is one of the more common comments of my friends or family.
It might appear to you, that I am not consequent or that my planning makes no sense at all. Though I strongly belief in having a road map, I also understand that if there is a “landslide” I have to find a new way to the overall goal. And my overall goal allways stays the same:

To have the best life with as little regrets as possible.

If that means I have to re-tailer my plans along the way, than that is just as well. At the end its my plan and my life.

I finally wrote down my life list or bucket-list as some call it. It is not yet reffined, some of the goals have been from my child hood and some are not yet added or the phrasing is not entirely good.
But I thought ist fund to share this with you.

P31 @ Camino Slowly the last days of this adventure have arrived. Today we did some boat dices around Camino. There is the wreck of the P31 and after a short break we did the Santa Maria Caves.

The P31 is similar to our P29 but is prepared to go entirely through the boat in one go. Its also shallower so you have more time to actually spend with the boat and the penetration of it. We had a very good timing. We had the boat to our selves till we at least swam once through. Than an army of other divers made me feel crowded…

The Santa Maria Caves are somewhat shallow and without much growth, but surreal and very beautiful.

Kevin, Jordan, Kevin and a DM of Jordan In the evening we celebrated our Dive master Certification. Unfortunately Julia, the third DM couldn’t make it. We first had dinner with our Instructors Melita and Kevin and than went to have some drinks at the local Dive bar to end up at one of Kevin’s favorite Karaoke bars.

As a surprise we rewrote ‘ Rawhide’  from Frankie Laine to a Corsair version as a thank you for the good time we had:

Diving’, diving’, diving’.
Diving’, diving’, diving’.
Diving’, diving’, diving’.
Diving’, diving’, diving’.
Corsair!
Hhaar! Ahrr!

Keep diving’, diving’, diving’,
Though the waves are swollen,
Keep them hardies’ breathing’, Corsair.
Through weather and wind and rain,
Hell bent for neoprene,
Keep the regulators in your mouth.
All the things I’m wishing’,
Good dive sites, wracks, and fishes’,
are sure to be waiting (there) at corsair.

Snorkel out, decent down,
pivot up, hover down,
assent up, tow ‘em on:
Corsair!
Snorkel out, decent down,

assent up, tow ‘em on:
Corsair!
Hhaar! Ahrr!

Diving’, diving’, diving’,
Keep on equalizing’,
and them students movin’, Corsair.
Don’t try to hold your breath in,
Just paddle and keep enjoying.
Soon we’ll be living the dream.
The logbook keeps on filling’,
the diving has been thrilling
with Kevin and Melita at corsair.

Snorkel out, decent down,
pivot up, hover down,
assent up, tow ‘em on:
Corsair!
Bottle in , Bottle out,
Bottle up, bottle down,
Bottle in , Bottle out,
Corsair!
Hhaar! Ahrr!

(Diving’, diving’, diving’.)
(Diving’, diving’, diving’.)
Hah!
(Diving’, diving’, diving’.)
Hah!
(Diving’, diving’, diving’.)
Corsair.
Hah!
Corsair!

Me and Melita Unfortunately we didn’t had time to practice, plus the DJ had chosen a much to short and apparently changed version. This was an epic fail, but Melita and Kevin still appreciated the thought.

Usually if you are passing the Dive Master Test, you should also get the Snorkel Treatment, but we 4 agreed that this is not our way of celebrating. The snorkel treatment is actually having a mask and snorkel on, so you can’ t breath and through the snorkel, all sorts of alcohol gets poured down your throught. For all that know Arnold and me, you will understand that we chose alternative methods to have “fun”

And fun we had for sure!…
